Straps keep your foot in place and pedal position stable. Good for everything from your morning commute to long tours; essential for fixed gear riding if you're not using clipless pedals. These straps use a simple hook/loop system to keep things secure but have a tough fabric outer to ensure they hold up to as much abuse and wear as you can dish out. Fits best with a wide base platform pedal but will fit well with some slimmer models.
Note: If it is your first time riding with straps, it's advised to pick an area without traffic to practice riding while sliding your foot in/out of the strap to get used to the motion. Regularly check your pedal straps for signs of wear, especially on the webbing going through the pedal. Do not ride if portions of the strap are significantly frayed.
